POSITION
·Responsible for managing the day- to-day operations of the Performance Improvement department, with oversight of approximately seven employees
· Utilizes effective strategies in developing, supervising and evaluating work processes, resource consumption and outcomes. Works to establish & manage department and organization-level standards, programs and strategies considering organization direction, legal & regulatory requirements, and customer needs.
·Qualified candidates must present with a bachelor’s degree with experience in performance improvement leadership, knowledge regarding philosophies, techniques, core measures, and data analysis needed with quality certification preferred
HOSPITAL
·This 188-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient medical services, as well as serving as the referral center for other area hospitals in need of additional care or emergency medical transport
·Provides advanced technology in all aspects of care to portions of southern and central Vermont and communities in eastern New York State
·This Vermont hospital is the second-largest health care facility, with over 1,300 employees and a medical staff of nearly 210 physicians within 38 specialty areas
