Lead and develop the current established pediatric program with the opportunity to design and implement new programs within a progressive organization
Position Focus
- Responsible for oversight of the pediatric unit, pediatric oncology, Cystic Fibrosis Center, pediatric neurosurgical unit, pediatric orthopedic program and pediatric open heart program scheduled to open in 2011
- Spearhead growth and program development of existing and future programs
- Be part of a progressive organization utilizing shared governance and on their way to Magnet designation
- Develop a dedicated management team to lead in the provision of the highest quality care

- The Children's Hospital at St. Mary's is an 81-bed acute care pediatric hospital
- An inviting, child-friendly facility, it offers a wide array of specialized and general pediatric services, including medical, surgical, cancer, trauma and emergency services
- One of only 13 state-designated pediatric trauma referral centers, the Children’s Hospital at St. Mary's provides the only Pediatric Cancer Program in Palm Beach, Martin, Indian River, Saint Lucie and Okeechobee counties and features a Child Life program, private rooms, and playrooms on each floor

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in nursing required with a master’s degree preferred
- Ideal applicants will be energetic, seasoned leaders with a strong pediatric leadership background
- Experience in business planning, developing proformas and ROI reports is important for success in this role
