Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) in Englewood, Colorado has retained B.E. Smith to lead a national recruitment for the system’s new Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO). CHI is the nation’s third largest non-profit healthcare system. It operates 103 hospitals, four academic health centers and teaching hospitals, 30 critical access facilities, community health organizations, nursing colleges, home-health agencies, and living communities across 19 states.
CHI is seeking an executive to serve as a forward-thinking, transformational leader who will drive large-scale innovation within the IT Sector. The ideal interim candidate will be responsible for restructuring the system-wide IT operating model to create a more service-oriented approach. The Interim Chief Information Officer will lead over 650 FTEs, guide four EHRs, and be responsible for the fiscal management of the systems IT operating budget.
