Director Perioperative and Surgical Services Duties

The Perioperative and Surgical Services Director will serve as the leader of the operating room, pre- and post-op, as well as the ambulatory center. The role is heavily involved with improving outcomes, including, but not limited to:

• Improving performance with First Case On-Time Starts and overall throughput
• Enhancing block time utilization
• Reducing turnover times
• Ensuring AORN standards
• Utilizing analytics to examine overall OR processes

The ideal leaders will be able to develop and mentor staff while creating strong relationships. They must also strive to creative a positive culture for both staff and patients.
