Franciscan Sisters Hires Next CFO

November 19, 2019

Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sponsored Ministries, Inc., selects Timothy Loch as Chief Financial Officer to provide financial stewardship for the organization.

In seeking a Chief Financial Officer who could assist the organization with providing standardized and meaningful financial information, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sponsored Ministries, Inc. (FSCCM), hired Timothy Loch.

FSCCM, who partnered with B.E. Smith for the search, values character as much as industry knowledge and experience. In interviewing candidates for the role, FSCCM President and CEO Scott McConnaha saw all of those factors in Loch.

“While we went into this CFO search thinking we simply needed someone with a strong finance background, we were immediately drawn to Tim because of his operations experience and strategic approach,” McConnaha said. “But even beyond the skills he brings, it was apparent early in the vetting process that Tim would be a good fit for our office, and that’s something we wouldn’t have been able to discern as easily without B.E. Smith’s assistance.”

As CFO, Loch will head strategic operational activities and projects related to FSCCM and its subsidiary organizations. He will work to consult the key stakeholders of the system and of the ancillary organizations on financial, strategic, and operational matters.

FSCCM is composed of three hospitals, two nursing homes, and a liberal arts college: Holy Family Memorial (Manitowoc, WI), Genesis HealthCare System (Zanesville, OH), Franciscan Care Services (West Point, NE), St. Paul Elder Services (Kaukauna, WI), and Holy Family College (Manitowoc, WI).

Spanning three states, the nonstock, not-for-profit corporation aims to carry out the commitment of the Sponsor to the healing and educational mission of the Catholic Church through the provision of quality health care and educational services.
