Opportunity to lead Quality-focused initiatives for Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium as the Chief Medical Officer in Anchorage, Alaska

The Position
  • The Chief Medical Officer focuses heavily on quality and process improvement for the consortium, actively seeking and introducing new opportunities to enhance patient care and quality practices
  • Strengthen overall service and delivery, ensuring new practices align with the mission and values of Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium
  • The CMO encourages collaboration with at least 28 partnering facilities and will integrate data-based quality standards into daily physician care 
  • The CMO will drive providers’ adherence to established compliance, integrity and regulatory policies, while building strong relationships across the organization
  • Must be licensed MD or DO with at least 10 years of specialty-focused practice, five or more years as an executive physician leader and eligible for Alaska medical licensure; expect clinical practice at least 5% of the time

  • Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is a Joint Commission accredited health organization providing primary care, pharmacy services, physical therapy, surgery centers and multi-specialty clinics to the Alaska Native and American Indian people of the state
  • ANTHC is the largest comprehensive Tribal health organization in the country, employing 2,500 people and operating Alaska’s first Level II trauma center
