Seeking an expert in medical records or coding to manage activities for medical records and Care Management as Interim System Director

The Position
  • The Interim oversees daily operations of the Care Management and Clinical Documentation Improvement programs to ensure proper utilization of health system services
  • The Interim System Director serves as an expert resource in reviewing medical records and provides accurate and consistent documentation for payers
  • The Interim works with Coding, Care Management and Quality leaders to meet organizational goals, business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • This leader assesses department processes and personnel to design an appropriate structure and staffing model for achieving desirable outcomes
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree with HIM, medical records or coding experience required
  • Care management, case management, utilization review or care coordination experience strongly preferred
  • Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) is a plus
