The Position

  • The Director of Planning will provide direction and coordination for all facets of planning, design, construction, and real estate.
  • The Director will focus on budget tracking, preparation, and space design planning and growth for Augusta University Health System while overseeing planning and construction efforts for all projects.
  • Will coordinate and provide capital project management, design, and scope development for the Health System to include large to small renovations, infrastructure replacements, and aesthetics. 
  • Provides master planning for main campus and ambulatory outreach sites as well as manages and leads departmental employees and provides direction while providing capital cashflow input and planning for Health System.
  • Exciting opportunity to work on a new project involving a 100-bed hospital. 
  • Seeking a visible team leader with at least five years of construction management experience and two years of healthcare experience who wants to be able to build their team from the ground up. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, construction management, or related field preferred. CHFM or CHC certifications preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills required.
