Lead start-up operations and strategic planning as the Transplant Administrator for a brand new transplant center at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas

The Position

  • The Transplant Administrator is responsible for strategy planning, service line growth and business demand of the Transplant Center at Dell Seton Medical Center, in coordination with the University of Texas at Austin's Dell Medical School
  • Demonstrate a passion for innovation and building service lines while leveraging a strong ability to collaborate with physicians and executives in growing a successful transplant program
  • The Transplant Administrator will manage transplant program development from the ground up, overseeing the opening of the center in 2021, UNOS communications and managed care contracting
  • Demonstrate an ability to navigate change, execute strategic initiatives and deliver a seamless program operation from start up to daily management


  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of management experience in a multi-organ transplant program
  • Master’s in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health or similar healthcare discipline is preferred
  • Ideal candidates will have professional background in an academic medical center, research institute or teaching hospital setting
