Organization:

Created in 2018, SolutionHealth is a non-profit, regional health system formed from the partnership established between Southern New Hampshire Health (SNHH) and Elliot Health System (EHS). Together, SNHH and EHS, the founding members of SolutionHealth, are committed to innovative models of care and collaboration that improve the health and well-being of more than half a million residents of southern New Hampshire. SolutionHealth is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees and has approximately 6,800 employees, 484 inpatient beds and more than 1,000 providers across the two-member health systems. The combined system represents approximately $969M in net revenue. Since the inception of SolutionHealth in 2018, several shared services have been developed, including Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Strategy, Payor Contracting, ACO & Population Health, Strategic Planning, Marketing & Communications, Facilities, and the Access Center. As the shared services continue to be optimized in an effort to support the needs of the system and the member hospitals, SolutionHealth as an enterprise is continuing to move forward with a multi-year, strategic and purposeful journey towards further harmonization and integration. Related, in 2020, SolutionHealth implemented Epic, which allows patients and providers to engage seamlessly across the health system. Currently, SolutionHealth is engaged with implementing Workday which will support finance, supply chain and human resource functions. Workday is planning to go live in April 2023. In 2021, SolutionHealth established a system-level clinical affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). This relationship enables MGH experts to collaborate with the caregivers at SNHH and EHS to meet patients’ complex or highly specialized needs. This affiliation also allows SolutionHealth patients access to second opinions, specialized surgical services, clinical trials, and other services provided by one of the world’s top hospitals while staying close to home.
