The Position

  • The Interim Nursing Director, Behavioral Health will be responsible for the oversight of nursing operations throughout the department and will oversee approximately 50+ FTEs.  
  • The Interim Director will focus on departmental initiatives including patient safety, patient outcomes, and quality while implementing process improvement strategies using evidence-based solutions. 
  • Seeking a strong behavioral health leader who will be equipped to analyze current processes while making improvements to safety, quality, and patient care policies.  
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. 


  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required; master’s degree is strongly preferred. 
  • Active New York RN license is required. 
  • A minimum of five years of nursing experience with a minimum of two years management experience is required.  
  • Healthcare experience is required. 

Pay Details

  • Pay Range: $170,000 - $180,000 annually. 
  • Final pay rate is dependent upon experience, education, training, and location.
