Join United Health Services as the next Director of Facilities Coding, overseeing the coding operations for the leading integrative health system in the Southern Tier of New York State 

The Position

  • Reporting to the Senior Director of Health Information Management, the Director of Facilities Coding provides leadership to the front-end facilities function of billing operations
  • Oversee inpatient, outpatient and emergency department coding and data collection to ensure accurate reporting, coding and reimbursement (ICD10 and CPT)
  • Responsible for 30 FTEs, the Director will identify ways to improve team engagement
  • Must have bachelor’s degree and experience managing facilities-specific billing & coding
  • On-site presence is required for the selected hire; remote work is not available for this opportunity
  • This opportunity will be working with EPIC and 3M as a part of this role
