The Opportunity

The Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner for Beverly & Addison Gilbert reports to the BILH SVP HRBP and has a dotted line reporting relationship to Hospital President.  


This role is critical to BILH as it aligns HR strategy with market business plans and helps leaders implement these actions within specific hospital locations and/or Operations Division.


Additionally, this role will provide consultative support and partnership to staff and leadership on all human capital matters in partnership with the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and will work in collaboration with the CoEs to support local entity on employee engagement, workforce management, talent acquisition, performance management, talent development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, communications, and change management.  


The role will have direct and indirect supervisory responsibilities for all of the HRBP, and Employee Relations team members assigned to supporting local entity and will serve as a coach and mentor for these positions in the department.


Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will specifically possess:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field required. Master’s degree preferred
  • 5-8 years related work experience required in Human Resources generalist experience across multiple disciplines and 5-8 years supervisory/management experience required
  • Strong project management skills, including a proven track record of leading large, complex projects using standard project management practices and tools. Be obsessed with delivering an amazing high quality end user experience with all human resources touch points and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication, and consulting skills. Ability to assess needs, influence, collaborate, deliver, and partner at the most senior levels in and across the organization.
  • Possess knowledge of the HR functions and associated HR policies, approaches, and environmental constraints, as well as relevant HR laws and regulations.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.

BayRidge Hospital provides accessible, high-quality mental health and substance abuse treatment. The 62-bed hospital offers a continuum of psychiatric and chemical dependency services on an inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient basis.  Coordination of care between Beverly Hospital's psychiatric services, the Leland Unit and the Senior Adult Unit at Addison Gilbert, and BayRidge Hospital assures the provision of a range of acute inpatient services to individuals suffering from psychiatric disabilities.


Beverly Hospital is a full service, 223-bed, community hospital providing quality, patient-centered care to North Shore and Cape Ann residents. Services include maternity, pediatrics, surgical, orthopedics, cardiology, as well as several other specialties. The hospital has a medical staff of more than 500 physicians and its service area includes some 13 communities.


Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers is an outpatient facility with state-of-the-art care centers and specialty services. The facility includes multidisciplinary centers for Breast Health, Cardiovascular, Infectious Disease, Pain Management, and Spine care among others. The Day Surgery Center has four operating rooms featuring the latest in minimally invasive technologies for all types of conditions. The Lifestyle Management Institute offers several comprehensive programs designed to address healthy options for individuals coping with chronic conditions.
