Provide leadership and expertise as Ambulatory Manager II - Urology Clinic with University of Virginia Medical Center, an award-winning healthcare organization in Charlottesville, Virginia

The Position

  • The Ambulatory Manager II is responsible for the leadership and management of patient care services, administrative services and financial services of one or more clinics, including Urology and Pelvic Medicine
  • Ensures processes are in place to maintain standards of care/administrative practice for all professional groups to assure quality service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Acts as a liaison between providers and staff and develops partnerships with clinicians, physicians and administrative counterparts to achieve common goals
  • Examines patient care expenses for designated patient populations and facilitates changes to decrease costs
  • This is a system-level leadership role that requires someone with a strong background in building relationships with physician partners and peers
  • Must have experience with budgeting, scores improvement, litigation and analytics
  • The ideal candidate is a nurse leader with operational management experience in an Ambulatory environment
  • BSN required
