A Virginia Hospital is seeking their new Interim Nurse Manager, Surgical Observation Unit!
The Position
- The Interim Nurse Manager, Surgical Observation Unit, is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations throughout the 24-bed department.
- The Interim Nurse Manager will oversee a wide array of patients including joint replacements, fractures, spinal, bariatric, and cardiac surgeries.
- Seeking a hands-on leader who will focus highly improving/maintaining patient experience and will identify opportunities to increase workflow productivity to ensure optimal patient care.
- This leader will collaborate closely with the Director of Patient Services to establish expectations and will hold staff accountable for achieving implemented metrics and standards throughout the department.
- Candidates will ideally bring previous leadership experience and will strive to serve as a visible leader for staff members throughout the department to create a trusting and transparent foundation.
- Ideal candidates will be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required.
- Active compact RN license is required.
