New Director opportunity to lead regional Ambulatory Services with University of Virginia Medical Center, an award-winning healthcare organization in Charlottesville, Virginia

The Position
  • The Director is responsible for the clinical, administrative, operational and financial activities of ambulatory programs, surgical sub-specialties and ophthalmology in multiple clinic settings
  • Oversee 12 clinics, five managers and seven total direct reports
  • Works collaboratively with clinical departments, nursing, physician leadership, other medical center departments, management, faculty and other stakeholders
  • Ensures timely patient access to care, operational efficiency, effective and safe delivery of patient care, practice productivity, fiscal integrity, regulatory compliance and high patient satisfaction
  • The ideal candidate will have strong Ambulatory and Academic hospital experience and demonstrates ability to build strong relationships with physicians
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
  • Registered Nurse preferred
