Peak Vista Community Health Centers is seeking an innovative leader to join their team as Director of Business Information/Informatics in picturesque Colorado Springs, Colorado! 


The Position

  • The Director of Business Information/Informatics will oversee the implementation and deployment of business informatics systems as it relates to the electronic health records across the system.
  • Reporting to the Vice President of Business Informatics, this leader will oversee a team of four direct reports.
  • The Director will develop relationships with key leaders and serve as an advocate for Business Informatics deliverables across multiple departments. They will be expected to collaborate with organizational leaders, and stakeholders to strategize and define reporting needs and integrate those rapidly evolving needs.
  • The leader will collaborate with clinical staff, nursing, and operations leaders to ensure all care team members are trained in necessary workflows to support patient care.
  • Ideal candidates will be customer focused and service oriented. They will have proven leadership abilities, and a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare information systems. They must be energetic, self-confident, and persuasive individuals capable of being decisive, flexible and results oriented. Project Management, Advance Coding and Data Governance experience is critical.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. 
  • 7-10 years of experience in electronic health records, clinical documentation, computerized order entry, results reporting, and other clinical technology required. 5+ years of relevant management experience required. Must have previous experience leading large projects which includes implementation of supportive technology.
