The Director of Finance has an exciting opportunity to work with the CFO in shaping the culture and growth of Whidbey Health Medical Center, a critical access facility on Washington’s Whidbey Island

The Position
  • Operates as the right-hand to the Chief Financial Officer, coordinating the financial direction for the organization and initiating cultural change throughout
  • Looking for a transparent leader, delivering open communication and guidance in regards to financial objectives, challenges and ventures
  • Will focus on building relationships with physicians, strengthens recruitment efforts and addresses hospital infrastructure as a whole
  • This leader works closely with the Director of Revenue Cycle and oversees a skilled team made up of Materials Management, Decision Support, Payroll and the Controller
  • Relevant experience in a critical access facility is preferred

  • Whidbey Health Medical Center is a 39-bed critical access hospital with an award-winning cancer program, an acute care hospital, eight outpatient sites and three Emergency Medical Service stations
  • Whidbey Health operates a Level III Trauma Center, a brand new Family Birthplace for laboring mothers, and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services
  • Staying with the pulse of high quality healthcare and technology, WhidbeyHealth recently completed a new inpatient wing, initiated plans to expand the Emergency Department, will revamp the hospital lobby and improve ancillary services

  • Coupeville, Washington is a town located on Whidbey Island, which draws visitors from all around to its numerous exciting outdoor adventures like kiteboarding, boating, sea tours, hiking, sailing, whale watching and fishing
