Summary
Interim Director of Emergency Services needed at a Texas Medical Center
The Position
- The Interim Director of Emergency Services will be responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of a 70-bed ED Unit.
- Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer/Vice President of Operations, this leader will oversee a team of 115 FTEs.
- This leader will conduct an assessment of the department, reviewing processes and providing recommendations for improvement. They will also mentor and coach staff. Lastly, this leader will work to improve Physician and Medical Director relations.
- Ideal candidates will be strong, experienced ED leaders. Must be a hands-on leader who is comfortable being present and rounding.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Master’s degree required.
- Previous healthcare experience required.
