The Position

  • The Interim Director of Materials Management will provides expert consultation to Executive Team and other management staff regarding expense management techniques, materials management practices, supply costs, utilization and consumption analysis, capital budgeting and industry trends and technical advances in field.
  • This leader will report to the Assistant Vice President of Supply Chain.
  • This leader will be expected to dead day-to-day operations of materials management function within large academic medical center. They will plan, organize, and direct activities of department through identification and resolution of operational problems, evaluation of departmental effectiveness and development or improvement of work methods.
  • The ideal candidate will have comparable supply chain, materials management experience working in a large, academic health care setting.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

  • The client will also provide you with a rental car, as well as lodging that is clean, safe and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
