The Position

  • The Director of Perioperative Services will be responsible for daily operations of the Perioperative department, consisting of 12 ORs and adding 5 more, with a level 1 trauma designation.
  • This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be supported by three managers.
  • This leader will be responsible for maintaining organizational excellence set in place by previous director. They will also be responsible for ensuring the departments maintain a Joint Commission ready status. 
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years relevant experience in a similarly complex setting, as a Manager or Director. They should have a proven track record of impacting departmental metrics, be an excellent communicator, and be capable of building effective working relationships.
  • BSN degree required, Masters preferred; AORN/CNOR certification required.
