The Position
  • The Clinical Director, Cardiovascular Services delivers on strategic initiatives to develop the cardiology program as it pertains to invasive, non-invasive, vascular and catheterization lab services
  • The Clinical Director, Cardiovascular Services collaborates with medical leaders and physicians to integrate cardiology processes with partnering hospitals
  • The Director examines overall market trends and applies that information to strategy and operations within the service line
  • Top goals for the Director include: 1) providing educational opportunities, leadership development and support to the nurse staff, 2) establishing quality measures focused on cardiac care, and 3) optimizing workflow in the cath lab
  • BSN is required, in addition to five or more years in Cath Lab nursing and cardiovascular management/leadership
