Chief People Officer
AtlantiCare is seeking an accomplished, forward-thinking and energetic Chief People Officer to lead forward Human Resources, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, and Patient Experience. The Chief People Officer (CPO) is responsible for developing and executing organization-wide people strategies that align with AtlantiCare’s overall business plan and strategic direction, specifically in the areas of Human Resources, which includes culture, talent management, compensation, benefits, organizational and performance management, payroll, and succession planning. In addition, the CPO leads Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and Patient Experience.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CPO will ensure that all areas under his/her purview work together seamlessly to meet business needs and operational goals of the organization. The CPO is expected to establish a servant leadership approach to enhancing a performance-based culture. She/he will serve as a trusted advisor to organizational leaders as it relates to organizational process, human capital, diversity and inclusion, as well as patient experience. The CPO will provide feedback to the executive team as “eyes and ears” on the ground. The CPO translates the organization’s strategic and tactical business plans into people processes and policies in order to ensure successful operating plans.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Health Care Administration or a related field is required.
- Ten-Fifteen years of Human Resources experience, with at least five years of experience at the senior level.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
The Atlantic City, Egg Harbor Township and Galloway Township area is located only one hour from Philadelphia and less than two hours from New York City. The area offers much in terms of community, entertainment, and education. It is home to Stockton University, beautiful beaches, world-class golf courses, multiple wineries and breweries, a National Blue Ribbon high school, and Atlantic City – America’s Playground.
