Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas is seeking an Administrative Director of Women’s Services to head strategic initiatives

The Position
  • The Administrative Director of Women’s Services serves as an advocate to women’s health and oversees daily operations for labor & delivery, OB and a Level III NICU, for a total of 55 beds
  • Provide leadership to the market transport team and seven Teen Centers
  • The Director evaluates the education program, assesses staff for clinical competencies, establishes accountability, fosters physician relations, participates in regular rounds, provides support to staff throughout departmental transitions and increases overall patient experience
  • The Director carries out risk management and quality improvement measures in areas like safety, compliance, regulatory standards, turnover, and reducing C-section rates
  • This leader should be a self-starter; comfortable executing strategic initiatives and offering a clinical perspective for improving and sustaining operational activities, especially in L&D
  • Demonstrated expertise in labor & delivery, plus additional experience leading in a women’s health unit; BSN required, Master’s preferred
