A Health System in Falls Church, VA is looking for an Interim Sr. Director of Nursing Outpatient Cancer Center to join their organization


The Position

  • The Interim Sr. Director of Nursing Outpatient Cancer Center will be responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of seven infusion centers.
  • Reporting to the Vice President of Nursing, this leader will oversee a team of ~150 FTEs.
  • This leader will need to work with staff to create a culture of accountability. They will also assist with any refining proforma related tasks remaining for new infusion center and help to fill those positions. They will also work within existing process consulting relationship and continue optimizing patient flow and throughout.
  • The ideal candidate will be a strong, visible leader who is experienced in outpatient infusion center operations. Must be able to hold staff accountable. A transformational and collaborative leader who capable of building relationships will be key. 
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. 


  • BSN degree required. 
  • Active VA or Compact state RN license required.
