Summary

Mary Washington Hospital is seeking an experienced leader to join them as their next Manager of Radiology Operations in beautiful Fredericksburg, Virginia! 

The Position

• The Manager of Radiology Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the department while ensuring optimal patient care at Mary Washington Hospital.
• Service lines include X-Ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiology Support.
• Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations: Imaging, Pathology, and Laboratory Services, this leader will oversee a team of 12 FTEs.
• This leader will be responsible for managing and optimizing staff needs, including shift scheduling and flexibility.  
• They will assist in financial statement reviews, and work to enhance the overall patient experience.
• We are seeking a visionary, hands-on leader who can effectively foster collaboration and communication across the department. Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• CRA certification is highly preferred.
• Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist by ARRT or another appropriate credentialing agency.
• A minimum of five years of supervisory experience is required.
