Summary

A California hospital is seeking their next Interim Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist! 

The Position

• The Interim Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for the 24-hour oversight of day-to-day operations throughout the NICU. 
• The Interim Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist will collaborate closely with the Nurse Educator while focusing on ongoing departmental initiatives including skills assessments, clinical policy developments, discharge planning, and education.  
• This leader will demonstrate a patient-centered mindset, compassion, excellent communication skills, and will focus highly on the individual needs of both patient and staff experience. 
• Ideal candidates will be collaborative leaders who will develop, maintain, and foster positive working relationships and will lead onboarding and training initiatives throughout the department.  
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. 

Requirements

• Master’s degree is required. 
• Active California RN license is required. 
• Valid certification as Clinical Nurse Specialist is required. 

Pay Details

• Pay Range: $170,000 - $180,000 annually. 
• Final pay rate is dependent upon experience, education, training, and location.
