Opportunity Near Boston to Lead Quality and Risk as the next Director in an Award-Winning Hospital


The Position

  • Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Quality and Risk will lead the identification, investigation, resolution, and mitigation of all risk issues for inpatient and outpatient services, while ensuring compliance with insurer and regulatory requirements. 
  • The Director of Quality and Risk will lead the department in designing a structure for the system while demonstrating a passion for teaching, building a team, establishing strong regulatory guidelines and working to foster strong relationships with all stakeholders. 
  • Seeking a highly visible, adaptable, and detail-oriented leader who can effectively collaborate with all levels of leadership, including for annual strategic planning. 
  • As the expert resource, the Director will provide education to hospital staff, physicians, and leadership on the topics of risk management, patient safety, quality, and compliance, as well as partner across departments to develop processes to monitor and track progress in these areas. 
  • Master’s degree highly preferred.
