Seeking a collaborative teambuilder to serve as Director of Case Management for Ochsner Health – West Bank in one of the best cities for culture and recreation, New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Position

  • The Director of Case Management (West Bank) will provide strategic and administrative oversight to the Case Management Department, which includes approximately 20 FTEs and the areas of social work, discharge planning, managed care contracting, and utilization management.
  • Reporting to the system’s Vice President of Case Management, the Director will work collaboratively toward effective employee recruitment, performance assessment, and development, while creating a culture of strong team communication and engagement.
  • Seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to move forward key initiatives and utilize patient care data to ensure quality patient and family outcomes.
  • The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to develop staff and drive culture.
  • Must bring 5+ years of case management or utilization management experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required. Certification in Case Management preferred.
