The Position

• The Director of Financial Reporting and Budgeting will be responsible for providing accurate financial reporting for the organization and will serve as a key leader within the finance department for the Hattiesburg Clinic.  
• The Director will oversee budgets, tax returns, audits, reports, compliance, payroll, and savings plans for dozens of clinics throughout the organization.  
• This leader will be responsible for the development and implementation of annual and quarterly consolidated budgets and will ensure accurate financial statements to maintain monthly budget incentives. 
• The Director will collaborate with external audit firms to develop and coordinate annual financial audits while also assisting with documentation for both federal and state income tax returns to ensure that all filing deadlines are consistently met.  
• Responsible for providing updates pertaining to GAAP pronouncements and will implement any necessary changes to guarantee that the organization is effectively achieving implemented standards and regulations.  
• The Director will be responsible for reviewing important financial initiatives including employee 401K savings plans, salary expenses, provider relief funds, and purchase services agreements.  
• Seeking a hands-on creative leader who will be willing to step into additional tasks while simultaneously providing guidance to staff members to ensure that both departmental and organizational goals are met. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance is required; a master’s degree is preferred. 
• Minimum of 5+ years of accounting/finance experience with in a related setting is required. 
• CPA certification is required. 
• Healthcare experience is required.
