Seeking an Executive Leader to serve as the System, Director of Total Rewards for a top Healthcare System in Hawaii!

The Position

  • The System Director of Total Rewards will provide leadership and direction in developing and implementing strategic and innovative initiatives to further the mission of The Queens Health System. 
  • Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this leader will oversee a team of three direct reports. 
  • This leader will be expected to lead all functions related to Total Rewards, including compensation, benefits, and employee wellbeing, by designing, developing, and implementing programs and policies. They will also be expected to assist in the development of recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent in the industry. Finally, this leader will be expected to assist in upgrading the current PeopleSoft program. 
  • Ideal candidates will be an experienced, collaborative leaders that are innovative and capable of thinking strategically. Must be able to review data and provide creative suggestions for advancing department goals/mission. Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred, and union experience is strong preferred.  
  • Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certifications are highly preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field required. Masters preferred.
