The Position
  • The Medical Director partners with the Senior Vice President of Managed Care to maximize performance on cost, quality, patient experience and clinical integration
  • Continues the refinement of the existing population health model, which includes interpreting of key aspects of contracts and developing more robust metrics applicable to all payers
  • Serves as a key player in the delivery of culture change and physician engagement including adoption of value-based and patient-centered principles and related care delivery/practice innovations
  • Strives to improve overall health of members by developing, monitoring and refining wellness and disease management strategies, programs, and initiatives in collaboration with the Senior Vice President of Managed Care and Senior Vice President of Human Resources as it relates to the Employee Health Plan
  • We are seeking a politically savvy leader who is eager to establish credibility and build collaborative relationships with physicians and the senior leadership team
  • The Medical Director is expected to maintain clinical practice as part of this role
  • Board certified physician required
  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience required
