Lead Emergency Services as the Director-Emergency Services, Clinical Decision Unit & Central Monitoring, in Award-Winning Henry Ford Health Jackson, located in the family-centered community of Jackson, Michigan. 

The Position 

  • Director-Emergency Services, Clinical Decision Unit & Central Monitoring, will be responsible for the strategic operation of the Emergency Department, CDU, Central Monitoring, and Outpatient/Observation Services to maintain 24-hour accountability. 
  • Overseeing approximately 300+ FTEs, the Director will support all organizational efforts around a superb organizational culture while focusing on patient safety, employee engagement, and service excellence.   
  • Responsible for decreasing falls in the departments and identifying the issues leading to those.  
  • This leader will demonstrate a patient-centered mindset, compassion, excellent communication skills, and will focus highly on the individual needs of both patient and staff experience. 
  • The Director must have the emergency department prepared for the Joint Commission by having them well versed in the Suicide Prevention Program.  
  • Minimum of five years of successful administrative experience in related clinical setting with previous experience in an acute hospital Emergency Department setting at the director or manager level preferred.  
  • BSN and Master’s degree required.  
  • Compact license accepted.
