Become Administrative Director of Laboratory Services for a dynamic department at UF Health Jacksonville, overseeing more than 100 employees across several sites

The Position
  • The Administrative Director is responsible for all hospital laboratory operations at the primary campus, North campus and three offsite blood draw sites
  • Scope of the role spans Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Cytology, Histology, Pathology and Microbiology, with oversight to 120 total employees
  • Provide leadership, strengthen quality measures, enhance outpatient volumes, improve employee engagement and conduct executive planning for the department
  • This Director should have a strong understanding of Anatomical Pathology, Cath Lab, AABB, CAP and leading providers of laboratory chemistry equipment
  • Bachelor’s degree in related sciences plus prior manager or director-level experience over laboratory services is required
  • Professional experience in an academic hospital setting is preferred
