Become the next Nurse Manager Surgical Services for a Level II Trauma and regional referral center to more than a dozen critical access hospitals
The Position
- Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, the Nurse Manager provides clinical leadership and support to Operating Room, Pre-Operative Care unit, Post-Operative Care unit, Anesthesia Services, GI unit, Sterile Processing, as well as campus-specific services such as infusions, blood transfusions and injections performed in the perioperative unit
- The Nurse Manager Surgical Services oversees daily operations for an 11-OR department with two supervisors, six service line coordinators and 40 employees overall
- Focus on upholding compliance standards with AORN and JACHO guidelines, build positive relationships with surgeons, engage staff to work hard and strengthen the department to become the facility of choice
- Must have 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in the Operating Room
- Minimum BSN required
