The Position
  • The Chief Information Security Officer is responsible for establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security program to ensure information assets are adequately protected
  • Identifies, evaluates, and reports on information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Proactively partners with all clinical, patient accounting, administrative and business units to implement security practices that meet defined policies and standards
  • This executive leader must be knowledgeable of technological trends and developments in the area of information security and risk management
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional certification, such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other information security credentials, preferred

  • HealthQuest is a local family of nonprofit hospitals and healthcare providers in the Mid-Hudson Valley and northwestern Connecticut
  • HealthQuest was formed through an affiliation of four hospitals – Northern Dutchess Hospital Center, Putnam Hospital Center, Sharon Hospital and Vassar Brothers Medical Center
  • In addition to four award-winning hospitals, the organization encompasses multiple primary care and specialty care locations, two Urgent Care locations and affiliates including the Thompson House, a 100-bed skilled nursing facility, Health Quest Home Care and The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology services in the region
