The Position
- The Director of Case Management will be responsible for leading all Case Management functions, including Utilization Management, Discharge Planning, Denials Management, Medical Necessity Denials, and Care Transitions.
- The Director will strive to optimize patient outcomes, provided services, care plan development, complaint management, and length of stay metrics while guaranteeing alignment with best practices, hospital and system priorities, and regulatory requirements.
- Preferred candidates will possess a robust background in handling appeals and denials, demonstrate strategic thinking abilities backed by tangible evidence. Additionally, candidates should exhibit strong teamwork skills and a commitment to fostering accountability among staff.
Ideal Leader
- BSN or Social Work degree required; Master’s in a related field preferred.
- Active RN license required.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in Case Management leadership.
