Drive efficiency, customer service and surgical volume for the Perioperative Services department as the next Director at CHI Health St. Elizabeth, a Magnet facility in Nebraska

The Position

  • The Director of Perioperative Services contributes to the mission and values of the organization by driving productivity, engagement, high quality metrics, clinical competency and customer service in the perioperative department
  • Scope of responsibility spans 14 Operating Rooms, Pre-Operative Care unit, Post-Operative Care unit, Anesthesia Services, GI unit, Sterile Processing, as well as campus-specific services such as infusions, blood transfusions and injections performed in the perioperative unit
  • Key goals for the Director include increasing surgical volume and minimizing staff turnover
  • Seeking a communicative, diplomatic leader to establish a vision for the department centered on strategies that will improve efficiency, strengthen employee engagement and better support surgeons
  • Must have 5+ years of leadership experience in perioperative/surgical services
  • Magnet background is preferred
  • BSN plus Master’s degree required
