Interim Director of Rehabilitation Services Needed in a Southeast Healthcare System
The Position
- An Interim Director of Rehabilitation Services is needed to oversee operations in the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Recreational Therapy departments across two hospitals and an outpatient center.
- Reporting directly to the Director of Inpatient Therapy, this role will oversee four direct reports and 120 FTEs.
- This productive department is well-staffed with low vacancies, but the Interim Director will focus on growing the inpatient census, expanding PT and OT services, and maintaining stability and retention within the department.
- The ideal candidate will be a licensed PT professional with strong leadership experience and the ability to mentor other directors. Strong regulatory knowledge and a willingness to step in and support the team as needed are critical.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Licensed Physical Therapist preferred, but candidates from other licensed healthcare backgrounds will be considered.
- Previous healthcare experience required.
