The Position
  • The Interim AVP, Patient Access Services is responsible for developing a vision and executable plan to attain world class patient access processes and procedures across all points of entry for the health system and medical group  
  • This position will identify opportunities for short and long-term impact on the access and assurance of financial outcomes from patients seeking care within the enterprise
  • Drives initiatives optimize performance, build internal competencies and create a more rigorous approach to the delivery of patient access related services throughout the enterprise, bringing a strong focus on patient experience, accountability and appropriate use of resources
  • Areas of oversight include: Scheduling, Authorization, Registration, Financial Counseling, Medicaid Eligibility, and 501(r) compliance 
  • Provides operational expertise in patient experience and patient financial outcomes
  • Revenue cycle and patient access experience required
  • Master’s degree and EPIC experience required

  • The client will also provide you with a rental car, as well as lodging that is clean, safe and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
