Serve as Tribal Health System’s Operational Leader in the Beautiful Puget Sound Area of Washington State Near Seattle!

The Position

  • The Healthcare Services Administrator will serve as the operational leader for the Tulalip Tribes Health System, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and equitable healthcare that meets the varying needs of all populations served. 
  • Reporting to the Tulalip Tribes’ Chief Administrative Officer, the Administrator will serve as a liaison to the tribal governing board to create synergies between the health system and positive community health outcomes.
  • The Administrator will oversee approximately 100 FTEs. 
  • Seeking a strong operational leader and communicator who can quickly build partnerships across the health system and with stakeholder groups.  
  • Must bring significant senior-level leadership experience in a healthcare setting. Tribal health experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

The Organization

  • The mission of the Tulalip Health System is to provide a premier integrated healthcare delivery system that is culturally relevant and addresses the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional needs of all Tulalip Tribal members.
  • Tulalip Health Systems’ services include behavioral health, community health, and dental care programs, as well as an acute care clinic that provides care through family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, podiatry, optometry, pharmacy, and complementary medicine. 
  • Tulalip’s Diabetes Care and Prevention Program was the recipient of the 2016 Indian Health Service Portland Area Director’s Aware Recognition of Excellence.

The Community

  • The Tulalip Tribes is a federally-recognized Indian tribe located on the Tulalip Reservation in the mid-Puget Sound area of Washington, located about 30 minutes from Seattle. 
  • The tribal population is close to 5,000 and growing, with 2,700 members residing on the 22,000 acres Tulalip Indian Reservation located north of Everett and the Snohomish River and west of Marysville, Washington. The Reservation is rich with natural resources: marine waters, tidelands, freshwater creeks and lakes, wetlands, forests, and developable land.
