The Position

  • The Director of Pharmacy demonstrates an ability to teach, lead and innovate a very talented pharmacy team in an academic-focused environment
  • The Director of Pharmacy is the operational leader for the hospital’s pharmacy department, overseeing finances, quality, employee performance, policies, procedures and customer service
  • Promote cooperation and collaboration across relevant departments and all employee levels (staff, physician, faculty, executive) to provide pharmacy services
  • Direct the transition to a newly constructed inpatient pharmacy unit, focusing on process improvement and advancing population health


  • Must be eager for growth opportunities to branch into academic leadership and system-wide responsibilities
  • Must have Director-level experience in pharmacy management within an academic facility or robust pharmacy residency program (PGY-1 or PGY-2)
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy required, PharmD highly preferred
