The Position
  • The Senior Director – Neonatal Clinical Services has responsibility and accountability to ensure that services and programs provided in their neonatal portfolio are patient/family focused, clinically excellent, operationally efficient, and achieve effective outcomes in clinical quality, safety, cost, experience, and staff engagement
  • Collaborates with the VP of Operations Mother Baby Clinical Service Line, Nursing colleagues, Chief of Critical Care Services, Medical Directors, and portfolio leaders to advance program vision, align strategic direction, coordinate efforts across divisions, services, and organizations, and provide clinical and administrative leadership and expertise
  • Facilitates an atmosphere of interactive management with the development of collegial relationships among nursing personnel and other healthcare disciplines consistent with the components of the Magnet Model and designation and Children’s values
  • Implements the organization's mission, vision, values, code of conduct, evidence-based practice, and nursing practice within their defined areas of responsibility and considering clinical needs of the population across the care continuum
  • Reaches outside of the organization to advance clinical best practices to improve the care of mothers and babies across the region
  • BSN and Master’s degree required
  • Active Minnesota nursing license required
