The Position

• The Labor Relations Manager is responsible for leading the labor relations program strategy and negotiating with multiple unions, ensuring alignment with El Camino’s goals and objectives.
• This position will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
• This leader will primarily manage end-to-end union partnerships, encompassing the strategic development and design of new Labor Relations programs.
• Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in developing and executing labor relations strategies. Extensive experience in high-level negotiations and managing complex labor relations within a healthcare setting is essential. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead transformative initiatives, are crucial.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Social Services, or a related field is required, with a master’s degree highly preferred.
• A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in HR management or labor relations, with at least four years specifically focused on labor relations and contract management, is required.
