Professional Opportunity to Lead at a 600-bed academic medical center and Magnet-Designated Organization as Assistant Director

The Position

  • The Assistant Director will support the day-to-day operations of the Case Management Department, which includes the areas of social work, discharge planning, and utilization management.
  • Reporting to the Director of Case Management, the Assistant Director will provide direct oversight to a lead social worker and lead case manager. 
  • Serve as a leadership resource to monitor and reduce length of stay, maintain optimal patient outcomes and regulatory compliance, and ensure Case Management intervention is consistent with department standards of clinical practice.
  • Must bring significant experience in case management or utilization management. Union and large academic facility experience is strongly preferred.
  • BSN degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Active nursing license required and can work towards obtaining a New Jersey license.
