Seeking an innovative teambuilder to serve as System Vice President of Case Management for Ochsner Health in one of the best cities for culture and recreation, New Orleans, Louisiana


The Position

  • The System Vice President is responsible for providing leadership and direct oversight for the Case Management and Social Services departments, including: Utilization Management, Discharge Planning, Precertification & Denials Management, Retrospective Medicaid, Medical Necessity Denials, and Care Transitions.
  • Responsible for implementing and standardizing processes across the health system and supporting continued growth of the organization.
  • Oversees strategy for leadership development and staff retention to ensure opportunities are available for employees as it pertains to internal promotions and engagement. 
  • Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to integrate well with the values and mission of the organization. 
  • Must bring 15 years of experience in Case Management or related field in addition to progressive management experience including frequent involvement with senior management, physicians, and outside care providers. 
  • Master’s Degree in business, nursing, or other healthcare related field required.
