The Position

  • The Director of Case Management (Main Campus) will provide strategic and administrative oversight to the Case Management Department, which includes approximately 40 FTEs, and the areas of social work, discharge planning, managed care contracting, and utilization management.
  • Utilize a solution-oriented and data-driven approach to ensure processes are in place to deliver the highest quality of care in accordance with clinical guidelines, organizational standards, and the patient’s and family’s needs.
  • Reporting to the system’s Vice President of Case Management, the Director will work collaboratively toward effective employee recruitment, performance assessment, and development, while creating a culture of strong team communication and engagement.
  • Seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to energize the team and drive key initiatives around length of stay, bridging gaps across the organization, and workforce planning.
  • Must bring 5+ years of case management or utilization management experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required. Certification in Case Management preferred.
