Seeking a visionary leader for a new leadership role as Senior Director of the Cancer Center with University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana

The Position
  • The Senior Director of the Cancer Center directs and oversees the development, implementation, evaluation and delivery of cancer services in accordance with the mission, strategic and financial goals and objectives of University Medical Center
  • Responsible for all aspects of care: Chemotherapy, Radiation, Clinic Operations, Inpatient Oncology Unit and outreach activities
  • Provides expertise in cancer service delivery that includes leadership skills, community collaboration, partnership development, comprehensive planning processes, development of implementation strategies and quality measures, staff competencies and development, and budgetary control
  • We are seeking a visionary leader to integrate the Cancer Center within the health system and facilitate a strong outreach program throughout the community
  • BSN and Master’s degree required, MSN preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years management experience in nursing or other clinical roles with progressive leadership experience
