Interim Nursing Manager Needed in Oklahoma Health System

The Position

  • An Interim Nursing Manager is needed to support the 8N unit, which encompasses a 14-bed CVICU, an 11-bed Cardiovascular unit, and ECMO.
  • This role will report to the Interim CV Director and oversee one direct report.
  • The interim leader will provide an assessment of the department to leadership, build connections with staff and directors, develop and implement an action plan based on employee satisfaction survey results, and carry out work from a recent Joint Commission mock survey.
  • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of standardization, an inquiring mind, and the ability to maintain agreed processes without deviation.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.


  • BSN required.
  • Previous healthcare experience, specifically in cardiovascular or intensive care settings, is highly preferred.
