Summary
Reporting directly to Cary D'Ortona, OHMG's President, the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) will provide strategic and operational leadership within the framework of Orlando Health Medical Group (OHMG). The COO will support and foster a culture of excellence by aligning strategies, processes, practices, and education around customer experience, barrier-free access, and a standardized operational approach to all clinic workflows. This individual will work closely with the OHMG Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), physician leaders, service line operational teams, and clinical leaders to support seamless service across the care continuum. The successful candidate will be a visible, visionary and strategic leader with a track record of building excellent relationships with providers and other administrative leaders.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in a physician practice leadership position within a multi-hospital, integrated healthcare system. Medical group operations experience in a multispecialty, ambulatory environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing effective, trusting, credible and collaborative relationships with providers.
- Strong operational skill set with the ability to balance quality, patient experience, efficiency, and financial performance.
- Proven track record in improving productivity and access.
- Process improvement expert.
- Knowledge and experience in physician practice financial administration and payer reimbursement.
